World Book Day

Sandal Magna finally got to celebrate World Book Day on Friday 9th March after all the snowy days that stopped us! Nursery teamed up with Reception and we looked at the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We had a fabulous time reading the story and taking part in different activities throughout the day. We learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly, painted pictures, did some writing and some counting - we were very busy!! The children really enjoyed being able to come to school dressed as their favourite character and they enjoyed telling others who they were.
