Tricky word challenge

We have set the reception children the challenge of learning All phase 2 and phase 3 tricky words.
Tricky words cannot be sounded out and need to be learnt by repeatedly looking at each word and saying it. We will send home a list of 6 tricky words for your child to learn with your help. We will check progress on Fridays and send home a slip with a score out of 6. When children read their list of words correctly for 2 Fridays in a row they will receive the next set of tricky words. Children will receive a certificate when they can correctly read all phase 2 and phase 3 tricky words.
