Ilkley Toy Museum

On Tuesday, Year 1 went on a trip to Ilkley Toy Museum to learn about lots of old fashioned toys. We travelled to the museum on a coach and we even got to watch films on the way there! We learned about all sorts of old fashioned toys, like old porcelain dolls, teddies and figurines. We had to go on a hunt around the museum and find each of the toys so that we could tick them off our list! We also saw an old fashioned train set that the lady set up for us and also a working miniature Victorian fair ground. We had a lovely day and the children were all extremely well behaved!
