New half-term.

After a lovely half-term break, Year One has been eagerly getting down to work and learning all about ‘Animals’ in our Topic. In Literacy we have been using adjectives to describe animals such as Tigers, Zebras and Elephants etc. The children thought of some wonderful describing words! In Art we have been creating animal masks by carefully thinking about the colours and patterns, and in D.T. we have been making moveable animals using split pins. We are thoroughly enjoying our new topic! Keep a look out on our blog for more information about what we will be learning next.
