Washing our Hands

Yesterday we had the school nurse visit it us in year one. She talked to us about how important it is to wash our hands and how germs spread very quickly. Some children put some special cream on their hands and went round shaking everyone's hand in the class to 'spread the germs.' We then looked at our hands under a special lamp and they began to glow green where all the germs were! The nurse taught us the 6 steps to washing our hands and how we have to sing Happy Birthday 2 times before we stop washing them!
