What a fabulous end to the term!

All the children in Year 1 have been absolute superstars this week. They have all worked extremely hard. We have performed our poem 'On the Ning Nang Nong' in English to Mrs Sennett, Mrs Akram, Miss Grindle and Mrs Jackson and her KS2 English set using instruments and we have been working really hard on our number bonds to 10 with our 'Number Bond Rap'. We also had a fantastic walk to end our topic of 'Out and About'. The children all behaved brilliantly and were a credit to the school. To finish our very busy week, we won 'Class of the Week' in Special Mentions Assembly today. Well done Year 1! Have a lovely, relaxing holiday and see you all on Monday 20th February!
