World Book Day

We had a fabulous day yesterday in Year 1 for World Book Day! Everyone looked amazing in their costumes and we had fun taking part in all of the different activities. We had the Year 6 children helping us in the morning and we did some exciting activities about 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' by Judith Kerr. In the Year 1 classroom, with Miss Abernethy, we had our very own tea party. We decorated buns and biscuits and had jam sandwiches and teapots with juice in. With Mrs Shepherd, we had a go at writing our own tiger poems. The children all worked really well together and it was a lovely morning!
