A fantastic end to the first half term

We've had a busy few days. Last Friday the 100% attendance children celebrated with an amazing African drumming session. The children and staff really enjoyed playing the drums.
This week we have received some truly outstanding homework pieces. All children have worked hard on their homework and there are some fantastic pieces in books but these three pieces really excelled.
Today we completed our 'Once Upon a Time' topic with our puppet show performances of Hansel and Gretel. Everyone worked collaboratively and showed great communication skills when performing.
After our shows we went hunting for pumpkins and then carved them together. Some children in Y2 had never seen a pumpkin before so this was a great experience.
It's been a very successful half term and everyone has worked hard settling into life in year two.
