An amazing trip to Sheffield Butterfly House

Yesterday we had a truly fabulous trip out. All the children were impeccably behaved and we had a wonderful day. Instead of me writing about it however, this time I have asked the children to write their own recounts of the day and I have chosen Emma and Nimra's writing to share with you all.

Our trip to the butterfly house.

First we went on a coach and we watched Mickey Mouse on the way there. Then we put our packed lunches in the dinner room and then we went around the park and we saw some otters and they were asleep. Next we saw some chipmunks. We also saw a washing line with the witch's clothes on it. Then we went to the dinosaurs trail and there was a button on it and when I pressed the button it squirted water at us. I held the snake and it was slithery. I also went it the butterfly house and it was very hot and we saw a big fish. Next we stroked an owl and it was as soft as a cat. Then she got a guinea pig and it was soft. What an amazing day we had!

When we were on the coach Glen kindly let us watch Mickey Mouse's Christmas and we all liked it. Then we were there. When we got them a lady took us to our lunch table. After that we went outside. Me and Mrs Thompson saw a tortoise, the tortoise spit his milk out of his mouth and then we went to the butterfly house all together in our groups. Mrs Thompson's group went first. The millipede had 256 legs. After the millipede he got out the snake, the snake was enormous. After that we saw the guinea pigs.
