Beautiful Butterflies

We have loved watching the caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies. They started out so tiny and we watched them grow each day. When they were ready they climbed to the top of the lid and hung in the shape of a 'J'. They then turned into a chrysalises. We had to move them into the habitat net. After a few days, the first butterfly emerged and we were so pleased to see it. We gave it fresh fruit, flowers and made 'nectar' using sugary water.
Eventually, after a few days all five butterflies emerged and it was time to release them. They flew away so quickly we didn't manage to get a photo of them flying.
