Fire Service Fun

As part of our topic: 'Help I need somebody!' the local fire service agreed to come and visit us. They came on Friday and we got to see the fire engine and all have a sit in it! Mr Ted even got to sit on the fireman's knee. They told us lots of information and we were able to ask lots of questions too. We heard the siren - it was REALLY LOUD! The flashing lights were cool and they showed us some of their equipment.
Our English topic for the next few weeks is 'Fact Files' so we will use this information to help us write an informative fact file about the fire service. Watch this space for examples of our writing.
