Remembrance Day

The 11th of November is a very important day as it is 'Remembrance Day'. We had a special assembly this morning and then joined the whole school in the hall for a silence at 11am. Then this afternoon we used our Art lesson to create our own poppies. We started by writing a set of instructions together and then followed them to make own poppies. We were focusing on being 'creative' and showing 'stickability' as it was quite tricky. We used art skills we have learnt previously to create our collage poppies. We wore them home to show our respect on this special day.
