A few parents have asked how best to learn times tables at home and the children have asked me to put these songs online so they can show you them at home! To reach the expected standard in Y2 the children must know 2,5 and 10 times table facts and division facts (e.g. 5x2 is 20 so 10÷ by 2= 5) and the best way to do this is to make it FUN! In class, we sing songs, play games and do speed games to help us to recall them and wotking on this at home will help them to be happy, confident mathematicians.
