World Book Day Scarecrow Fun
Thursday 02 Mar 2017 20:28pm
Wow! What a wonderful day we've had! Everyone in Year Two made a great effort today. We started the day with a school assembly where we were able to see some amazing costumes. Can you believe that today is the 20th World Book Day?
After the assembly we came back to class alongside Year Five. Mr Smith read, 'The Scarecrow's Wedding'. Mrs Thompson then explained that we were going to design and make our own scarecrows.
We used lots of our key habits today: creativity, stickability, collaboration and communication. The end results were good.
Take a look at our pictures.
Then in the afternoon we were treated to watching 'Trolls' while eating popcorn as our class behaviour has been exemplary for the last few weeks.
Keep it up Year Two.
