Writing with a purpose! First, Next, After that...
Saturday 29 Sep 2018 23:00pm
On Friday Y2 had a special delivery! Our class monkey had left lots of ingredients and some silly instructions for how to make cucumber sandwiches for the Queen (after reading The Queen's Orang Utan) .
The children made a better plan, before making their sandwiches and next week they will write much better instructions for Monkey!
We will use time adverbials like First, Next and AFter that, as well as bossy imperative verbs such as chop, slice, dice and spread and adverbs such as carefully (chop) and gently (spread) to help our readers to know what to do!
