Another busy week!

We have all enjoyed another busy week in Year 3. In Literacy we continued learning how to write a formal letter. The children are writing letters to Mrs Sennett with their ideas on how to improve the school. I am not sure she will allow us to have a 2 hour lunch break! In Numeracy we have been using our place value knowledge to answer addition and subtraction questions.
In our topic lesson we used computers to find information about Roman gods. There were so many things to find! Mrs Garside taught us how to use sticks to play a beat in Music. She also showed us how to clap the syllables of our names. Some were harder than others!
On Wednesday Faria, Zeeshaan, Keera and Filip went to Kettlethorpe High School for the cross country tournament. All of them performed fantastically and had a really good time. A special mention goes to Zeeshaan, who came 3rd in the Year 3 boys race.
Here are some pictures from our week.
