Another busy week!

It has been another very busy week in Year 3. In Literacy we have been learning how to write persuasive letters. We have decided to write to Mrs Sennett about a possible trip to a theme park for all the hard work we have done this year! All the children have planned and started to write some excellent letters.
We are all enjoying our Anglo Saxon topic work. This week we found out about all the different jobs that they did, such as farmers, weavers and blacksmiths. It is our workshop at Wakefield One next week, and we will be using role play to act out different jobs.
Also, the children have been helping to dig our vegetable garden and plant onions, lettuce and cucumbers. Hopefully, we will grow lots of nice food for our school. Some children have kindly brought in some extra seeds for us to plant.
Finally, our attendance has been excellent this week, almost 100%! Lets hope we win Sam the Dog next week. The children are really looking forward to the attendance incentive reward and are all hoping to go the magic show in a few weeks time. Keep it up everybody!
