Another week with Sam the Dog!
Friday 29 Jan 2016 00:00am

In English we have begun to write newspaper reports about The Blitz in World War 2. Sam saw the class try and write their own for their cold task. He was very impressed with the way they wrote headlines, drew pictures and wrote facts about key events. We have been using our key learning habit of being 'reflective' to help us. Continuing with the Second World War theme, Sam joined in with the children making patchwork quilts with 9 squares of different fabrics.
Today all of the children who achieved 100% attendance over the past 3 weeks enjoyed their reward. A circus entertainer came to school and taught us how to use lots of different equipment. Everyone had a wonderful time, walking on a tightrope, riding tiny bikes and juggling to name just a few. Sam had a wonderful week and hopes he can visit Year 3 again soon. Keep up the good work everyone!
