Clean for the Queen
Friday 11 Mar 2016 18:43pm
Today we were joined by Mr Elliott as we joined in with the 'Clean for the Queen' event. As part of celebrating the Queens 90th birthday, Year 3 picked litter from around the school grounds.
Mr Elliott explained to the children the importance of keeping our school clean, and how to carefully pick litter up and put it in bin bags. We then put on our rubber gloves and split into 3 groups, before heading in different directions. The children worked as a team and managed to collect enough litter to fill a bin bag! The school looks a much cleaner environment, and all the children had fun taking part. We are sure the Queen would be pleased with our efforts!
