Junior Pizziolos!

Today, we had the most amazing experience at Pizza Express! The children all became junior pizzaolos (junior pizza makers) for the morning. When we arrived at Pizza Express we had to make sure our hands were clean before touching any food. Then we put on our aprons and chefs hats. We then talked about what we knew about pizza and where the ingredients came from. Everyone had the chance to try an olive, red onion, mozzarella cheese and basil. It was then time to make our own pizzas! The children had to firstly spread tomato sauce across the pizza base, making sure there was a space for a crust. They then had to sprinkle cubes of mozzarella evenly across the pizza base. The pizzas went in the oven and came out smelling and looking beautiful. Everyone cannot wait to eat theirs at home tonight. All of the children were a credit to our school throughout the experience. Well done and enjoy your pizzas!
