Our week with Sam the Dog
Sunday 13 Dec 2015 15:55pm
This week, Year 3 were lucky enough to have Sam the Dog join us! Our attendance for the previous week was an excellent 98%. Sam wasn't too pleased to hear it was assessment week, however Mr Carver said that he could help some children read and not take any tests himself! Sam thought all the children worked really hard in their tests, which included reading, maths and SPaG.
During the rest of the week, Sam wrote a story called The Clocktower and he worked with Haleema to mark her work. He found this quite difficult! In Art, he made a Christmas card using his paw print dipped in paint! Most afternoons, Sam went into the hall to hear the rehearsals for the Key Stage 2 Christmas concert. The children are nearly ready for their real performances next week. Attendance in Year 3 was really good during the week. Maybe he will be back again soon?!
