Spending time with Sam the Dog

In our first week back at school out attendance was a fantastic 97%! This meant we had Sam the Dog in our class all week. It was our first week of formal lessons so Sam was very busy. In Literacy he wrote a letter to Mrs Sennett to tell her how he thought the school playground could be improved. He asked for a play area for dogs. The children did not think Mrs Sennett would agree!

Sam also enjoyed learning about place value in Numeracy, forces in Science and how to use our new notbooks in Computing. He also took part in our practice for the cross country tournament. We all had a great week and hope Sam can work in our class again soon.
