Outdoor Measuring

This week in Maths we have been learning about measuring. On Monday we used tape measures to measure ourselves and our class mates. On Tuesday some children measured their hands and feet, whilst others measured different objects in the classroom.

Today we all went outside with a tape measure and measured different things in the school grounds. Here are some of the things we measured. The trim trail, a grate, a flowerpot , the kitchen window and some playtime equipment. All the children had fun and learnt a lot. Here are some pictures of our morning.
