Outdoor Numeracy lesson

This week in Numeracy the children have been learning multiplication skills. Today we decided to take our learning outside. It was a little bit cold but we had lots of fun! We went to the Key Stage 1 playground and collected leaves to help us learn our times tables. The children worked in pairs and were given a multiplication calculation. They had to find the answer by collecting leaves and sticking them to a piece of card. This then became a multiplication array. We hope we can take our learning outside again soon!
