Polar Bear Art
Tuesday 07 Nov 2017 19:16pm
Our new topic is 'The Frozen Land'. We have begun to learn about the Polar Regions and what they are like geographically, how humans survive there and the interesting animals which live there. In English, we are writing amazing information texts about Arctic foxes. In our art lesson today, the children made a polar bear picture using paint and a template of the animal. Firstly, they painted the icy landscape onto purple card (this was to be the evening sky). They then had to cut a circular moon and glue it to the top corner. Finally, the polar bears were carefully cut and glued onto the landscape. They looked fantastic and are drying in the classroom right now! When they are dry, they will be put on display for everyone to see. We hope you en

joy the photos!
