The Big Challenge

Yesterday, Year 3 tried their first Big Challenge. The children were divided into their teams and we given their instructions - make a free standing arch using art straws and play dough! The arch had to be large enough for one of the team members to crawl through. We were looking for everyone using some of our key learning habits such as communication and collaboration. All groups worked hard to make their arch, but unfortunately no team finished the task. In our next challenge, Mr Carver has asked every team to use these key learning habits much more!
