A Magna-ificent Time was had by all!

Wednesday 25 Apr 2018 18:03pm

Our trip to Magna in Rotherham was a huge success today.  To complement our topic of Extreme Weather, we took the opportunity to investigate air, water and fire.  In a few short hours, we saw a fire tornado, stood in a wind tunnel, blasted air at mirrors and investigated how water can be used to create movement (a good thing if controlled) and to cause complete devastation (a terrible thing) when there are natural disasters such as tsunamis, flooding and avalanches.
Of course, the children enjoyed their lunch, some fresh air in the playground and a short retail experience too.  At the end of the day, everyone returned to school tired, but happy.
Year 4 would like to thank parents for supporting the trip financially and Mrs Skolas, Mr Dixon and Mrs Sketchley for taking us.
