A taste of the Tudors

We had a fabulous day today learning more about The Terrible Tudors and their strange ways.  We handled lots of artefacts and had a chance to draw them, we learned that they ate a lot of potage which is a kind of cabbage soup flavoured with lots of herbs and that they drank beer because their water was so badly polluted.  We learned how some went to school, that they had no TV(!) and a little about their sports and how they tried to defend themselves.  We even did some Tudor dancing (even Mr Carver had a go!)
It was a great day inspite of the heat.  Take a look at our photos......
