Celebrating our topic work

As you know, our topic this term has been World War Two.  Everything came together today as we invited our parents to come into school and share all that we have learned.  We have worked so hard to learn about the countries involved, the effects of rationing and the key events of the time.  We have learned about figures such as Hitler and Churchill and about significant events such as evacuation and the Blitz as well as designing and making a soldier's helmet and completing various pieces of art work and writing a letter to an evacuee and a newspaper report about the Blitz.  We loved sharing all we know.  Thank you to everyone who came to join us.
