Days making memories
Thursday 15 Sep 2016 23:00pm
Our first full week back at school saw the Eid celebrations when several children were not at school, but celebrating with their families. Not to be outdone, we also celebrated with a party in Year 4 on Friday. The children wore their best party clothes and performed their favourite party moves in musical statues and other games such as pass the parcel whilst Mr Carver performed DJ duties.
On Tuesday, we also celebrated the 100th anniversary of Roahl Dahl's birth with a Dahlicious Day. The children dressed as their favourite character and spent the morning writing their own story and then nibbling away at it as it was written on rice paper. Truly Dalicious! We had fun and also raised some money for Roald Dahl's favourite charity.
Coupled with our first swimming lesson of the year, Tuesday proved to be quite a memorable day.
Thank you for all your support.
