Egyptian Archaeologists

Year 4 were truly amazing this morning when they shared their growing knowledge of all things Egyptian with Kelly from the Wakefield Museum Service. Technical topic vocabulary flowed as we discussed archaeology, the River Nile, papyrus, artefacts, mummification and things to take to the afterlife.
After Kelly's introduction, we were able to design our own Egyptian Gods - complete with animal heads - and actually handle real artefacts and look at them under a microscope. Take a look.....
