Happy New Year - Can you help?

Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope that you have had a lovely break and are looking forward to coming back to school and starting our World War Two Topic.   Our trip to Eden Camp is less than two weeks away now and all payments are due by Friday, 8th January, so please remember to bring your money into school as soon as you can.

In DT this term, we will be making helmets for a British soldier and a patchwork quilt for a war time home.  Obviously we need lots of resources to make these, so please bring in old newspapers and magazines for our helmet construction and clean, bright, unwanted materials for our patch work.  Ideally the fabric should be cotton or polycotton as this is easiest to work with, but all contributions are welcome, especially unwanted bedding.
