Litter picking challenge

In Science, we are still looking at the impact that humans have on animal habitats. In our lesson today, we interpreted some results from another school's survey and then conducted one of our own to answer the challenge question:
Which type of litter is most common in your school?
In 10 minutes we found litter in the form of a wide range of different materials. We produced a tally chart and tomorrow we will be recording and interpreting our results. We enjoyed the fresh air and the sunshine and there was a lot of teamwork involved in completing the task.
