Merry Christmas Everyone

Well, here we are at last.  We can't believe that our first term together in Year 4 has already come to a close.  And what a week it has been!  Thanks to all the parents and friends who came to support us in our production.  We had a great time performing for you and we hope that you enjoyed our show.

Mrs Sketchley came swimming with us on Tuesday and was really impressed by the progress we have made and the increase in our water-skills and confidence.  Many of us will be able to swim a full width early in the New Year.  We will continue to go swimming on Tuesdays.  Don't forget your costume on the first day back!

There is no home work over the holidays, though we are expected to revisit our spellings from the second half term and times tables so that we are ready for our World War Two work next term. We will be looking at rationing, so will be doing lots of fractions work.

Remember we will be going to Eden Camp on January 16th.  Many of us have paid, but there are still quite a few who will need to pay £11.75 in the first week back.  It is vital that everyone pays, otherwise the trip will not be viable.

Next term, PE day will be WEDNESDAY, so please remember to bring in your kits, washed and ironed after the holidays.

All that remains is to wish you a very happy, safe and peaceful holiday.
