Sledging at Snowzone

Today, Year 4 were given their reward for having the best attendance in school last year. It was a trip to Snowzone at Xscape! The children were joined by four very excited adults, Mr Carver, Mrs Swailes, Mr Dixon and Mrs Skolas. Everyone wore their warmest clothes and looked ready for fun in the snow!

We arrived and were greeted by our leaders. They led us to our sledges and our own special slope! The rest was easy - we just had to walk to the top and go down on our sledges! Despite the cold, everyone had an amazing experience and challenged themselves to go down as fast as they could. There were lot's of races going on (even between the adults!), and the smiles on everyone's faces said it all. We finished our experience by eating plenty of pizza and chips!
