We went down a mine!

What a wonderful day we had at the National Coal Mining Museum!  The children were a credit to themselves, their families and our school.  We had a super day looking around the museum, meeting the pit ponies and finding out about their lives and how to measure them, actually going down the shaft in a cage and exploring the mine and, of course, enjoying our lunch together.  We hope you enjoy the photos.
