Y4 avoids disaster

Without doubt, Storm Doris could have spelt disaster for Year 4 as our long awaited and much anticipated trip to Pizza Express to launch our When in Rome topic was blown away.
Fortunately for us, Doris had not met the intrepid and resourceful Mrs Pratt who produced a workshop at Magna Pizzeria literally over night. Year 4 was taken by storm!
The children tasted various previously unknown ingredients and then designed and made a pizza each which they are proudly taking home to their families tonight. This was a workshop that every child enjoyed and the sort of experience that will be remembered for many years to come. Take a look for yourself.

In addition, we finished our length and perimeter work by taking maths outside on Monday. I hope you enjoy an insight into this too. Exactly how far is 200m?
