Christmas time!

We've had a very busy few weeks in Year 5. Last week, we had a visit from David who works to promote Fairtrade. We learnt all about how Fairtrade works, especially how each person in the production line gets paid. We also got to sample some different chocolates!
This week, we have been really focused on Christmas. We really enjoyed the production on Tuesday and thank you to all the parents who came to see us. In the afternoon, we had our Christmas party. We played lots of games in the hall and had a huge spread of food to eat. We all went home stuffed!
Yesterday we had our Christmas Dinner and Mr Smith and Mrs Ward joined us for the food. It was delicious! Over the next few days, we have lots to look forward to, including the Christmas raffle, Christmas walk to school and lots of Christmas craft activities! Hopefully, we won't be too tired to enjoy our holidays!
