Medieval Drama

Today, we went to the hall to take part in some drama activities, linked to our topic. When we got there, we did some warm up activities and then Mr Smith showed us a PowerPoint presentation about the jobs that people used to do in castles. We then thought about the ways that these different people would have moved, walked and presented themselves within the castle. In small groups we then created our own short scene, some were Lords and Ladies sitting for a feast, soldiers and knights training and cooks and servants working in the kitchen. We worked really well together and created some clever and funny scenes. Then Mr Smith gave us parts and we worked on a short scene based on the legends of Robin Hood. We had a really enjoyable morning!
