Race For Life

Yesterday, year 5 joined the rest of school in running the Race For Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
We had a fabulous afternoon in spite of the rain. First of all we did a warm up routine on the playground led by Mr Smith and then went onto the field.
We cheered on the KS 1 children while they ran and then all of us in KS 2 took our turn running round the field. It was a bit slippy because of the rain but we were all really careful.
After the race we were presented with a medal for taking part and here we all are showing them off.
