To Infinity and Beyond

Year 5 enjoyed a great day learning about space.
We spent the morning inside a space dome travelling through our solar system. Then, we had fun researching the history of space travel by finding facts to help us decide 'Who won the Space Race?'. In the afternoon, we enjoyed designing and making watering cans that could function in zero gravity. We really had to think about how water behaves on the International Space Station! We used this NASA video to help us - watch the video.
