A Fantastic Day out!

On 10th March, the entire Year 5 and 6 classes went to The Tropical Butterfly House in Sheffield for their recent topic, Under the Canopy.When we arrived we saw lots of chipmunks and otters. The chipmunks were asleep but they were cute! Also, the chipmunks had their own little mansion - so cool!
Then we went to the Tropical Butterfly House. It was so hot (32 degrees). We saw lots of butterflies,snakes, stick insects, frogs and bats. We all got a mini show for some of the animals - our guide was called Tony. We learnt lots of fun facts. This was my favourite part.
Whilst we were moaning because we were hungry, Miss said "Let's go to the owls!" and when we arrived we found out that an owl can turn it's head 270 degrees.
Best Trip Ever!!
