Knitting madness!

At Sandal Magna our Year 6 are learning a new skill...knitting! We have been really busy since Christmas learning how to knit comforters and hats for premature babies. Not only is knitting really good for people's well being but we are also supporting our local hospital and the wonderful work they do on the Special Baby Unit.
If you are a keen knitter and you want to get your needles clacking then please get in touch with Mrs Shepherd who will happily let you know how you could join in. We would love any volunteers to help us get all of Year 6 started or if you have any spare wool then we would welcome any donations. Sirdar Spinning LTD have kindly sent us a box of wool to support our mission. I will post pictures along our knitting journey so you can see how Year 6 are progressing.
