Victorian Day

Recently, Year 6 have had the opportunity to take part in Victorian Day as our topic this half term is investigating what life was like for children in 1900. We all got dressed up and turned the clock back 200 years to help us experience what life was like in a Victorian classroom. The children took part in many traditional activities such as using chalk and slate to complete a handwriting session, drill in the hall, an arithmetic lesson and embroidery.
