Visit to Thomas a Beckets

On Monday afternoon, Saira, Bethany, Ismail and AbuBakr got to go on a special visit to St Thomas a Beckets. This is where we will be going in September. We walked there with Miss Grindle.
When we got there we were met by the teacher who will be our head of year 7. He was really friendly and made us feel really welcome. He showed us round the school. We were really excited by the building work that was happening. He told us that there is a cycling track being built, which will be used as part of PE lessons, and also a new sports hall.
We got to look in one of the food technology kitchens, it is much bigger than ours at the moment! We also got to see a dance and a drama workshop and were allowed to sneak into a music lesson.
All the staff we saw were really friendly, and we managed to ask some questions about our big move!
We all feel a little bit less nervous now, and are beginning to look forward to moving to High School.
