Year 6
Welcome to Year 6!
Our aim is to create independent, curious and successful individuals who are willing to take on new challenges and who are ready for life after primary school.
It is important that children are in school every morning on time, ready to start learning at 8.40am. We have lots of learning to fit in to ensure that children are ready for all the challenges that Year 6 brings and this begins as soon as the bell goes for the start of the school day!
PE this year will be on a Tuesday afternoon, where possible this will be done outside so please make sure you are dressed appropriately for the weather.
Parents can help support their child at home by making sure any homework is completed to a good standard and that when listening to their child read they ask questions about the text and discuss what has happened and what might happen next.
The Year 6 team are excited about helping your child move their learning forward and are looking forward to watching them make progress in school.
If you have any further questions, please contact school and we will do our best to answer them.
Thank you for visiting our page, it will be updated frequently throughout the school year with things we have done as well as important information for parents, so please do make sure you are checking back regularly.
We are extremely committed to helping your child develop in our class, and we offer all children the chance to grow both academically and spiritually. All of our team look forward to working with them as they continue their development through our school. Our door is always open, so please speak to one of us if you have any questions.
